Hello everybody.
I spoke to my mother a little while ago and today there is very much a sense of renewed hope.
Scott was able to breathe for a short period on his own. So there is Hope!!
As always we are reminded that he is still in Intensive Care Unit under tremendous monitoring and care. He is still on the ventilator and they are tweaking some of his treatments. He has recognized my mother, at least with his eyes.
but it is obvious that he is still in tremendous pain.
The nurses and all of the support staff are absolutely wonderful!!
As always your prayers and words of encouragement are a great source for all who read them.
I am sure that Scott will be uplifted by your words.

We are very pleased to here the news. This is so wonderful to here.We have Scott in our prayers. We cant wait to talk to him. We look forward to it. We are very glad he is progressing. It feels weird not having him around at the moment. But he will be glad to here that Richard has gotten his bike out and road today for the first time in a long time. But I have also worried the whole time he was gone. So we will keep high spirits and hope all goes well.
