Hello,
Scott had a great tests this morning as they continue to work towards getting him off of the ventilator
Yesterday, the lab results were not great, but today... They were very good, as was the sounds of his lungs.
The doctor continues to be hopeful and pleased with his progress. Today will be spent resting again. These tests are hard work and wear him down.
Also this morning, he was even more responsive. Turning his head to voices, and responding with head nods. His eyes are expressive and he seems to be somewhat aware of what is going on . He is still very, very "foggy". but he acknowledges who is there in the room with him.
We are well pleased with the doctor. He is decisive and well educated. He has been in critical pulminary care for 18+ years.
Again, we can't say enough good things about the attention and care that Scott is getting.
Everybody, without exception, has been great. From the doctors and nurses, to the support staff, to the hospital administration people we strike up a conversation with.
The staff at the hotel asks about Scott, and everybody prays for him. It is wonderful to feel the love and care of this entire city.
Baby steps, prayers... patience.
Thank you again for your support and prayers.
Gene
