My mother was with Scott this morning when they were trying to get him to breathe on his own.
It wasn't as good as we hoped, and he remains on the ventilator. He was feverish last night also. The ICU nurses continue to care deeply for him.
This morning he is a little less foggy, and communicating a little with his eyes. That is encouraging.
Thank you again for all of the prayers and support.

sounds like your getting better, that is awsome i always new you would.kim ,mysel, joe and tammy will try to get down and see you this weekend. we talk about you every day. we also are ready for you to get your but back home. keep working hard on your improvements, and we will see you soon.....david and kimi

I have had the fun of learning to breath, so I am with you on this. Just keep trying and you'll get a little stronger bit by bit.
You haven't met me, but your brother and i get to gether every month and cook gumbo at my house. I hope some day soon you, your mother and family can come by and see how well he cooks.
